wii fit: day three
BMI: 27.26
Body Age: 31
Training Time: 41 minutes
Today I did mostly yoga and strength training exercises with a few balance games to keep me motivated. The strength training kicked my butt and I definitely think that’s where the bulk of the improvement will come from. I had the most trouble with the pushups which didn’t surprise me, I’ve pretty much always had pathetically bad arm strength. Still I made it through two sets of reps which gave me hope for the future.
The yoga is starting to get really interesting, now that I’m unlocking some of the more advanced poses and stuff. I’m starting to get much better scores on the poses that require balance and that’s making me feel like I’m actually accomplishing something. I’m looking forward to unlocking the rest of the poses, I feel like that’s going to really make a difference, just having more variety of poses to try. That said I’m still not really that adept at the poses I have unlocked so maybe I’m not ready for them anyway. Wii Fit seems to do a pretty great job of parcelling exercises out which both keeps me motivated to unlock stuff as well as keeps me from trying more strenuous exercises before I’m really ready for them.
Tomorrow it’s back to aerobics and yoga. I feel like I’m starting to integrate Wii Fit into my daily non-schedule, and that can only be a good thing.
