wii fit: day two

Today was my first Yoga + aerobics/balance day and it went pretty good I think. The Yoga will make a real difference for me, I’ve always been the least flexible person I know and you can totally tell watching me try and do these crazy poses. I unlocked the touch your toes exercise and, as expected, I can’t even come close. Like I said yesterday, that’s the one I’m most excited about because it’s something I have never been able to do.
The aerobics are also really good. I broke my first sweat doing the run in place exercise, I think that’s going to be a big one for me, and it felt really good. I actually started to feel like I was doing something to improve my fitness level. I also got a good enough score on the Hula Hoop exercise to unlock the Super Hula Hoop which was cool. As for the balance games I’m starting to do a bit better but this is an area where I think I need a lot of work. I can make it all the way through the Slalom now though, which seems like an achievement of sorts.
Tomorrow will be the first strength training day, so we’ll see how that goes. When I hit 30 minutes of training time today the fit bank got very excited, it was cute. And like yesterday my BMI went down. How much of that is just the time I did it and not having eaten etc… only time will tell. But it does feel encouraging.
